So this question is dedicated to all my fellow Dwarfers...All Hail Starbug!!! Oh did you know that Craig Charles will miss the premier screening due to the fact that he has to shoot a night-scene in Corrie? What a pity! Asked by Tribbles - Thu Apr 9 13:21:38 2009 - - 5 Answers - 2 Comments A. I remember you, you're the lass that answered underneath me in another Red Dwarf question! Hello, from one proud 'Dwarfer to another! My favourite character? Well, if it wasn't already evident, it would have to be that great man Arnold Judas Rimmer. Dave Lister is good, but nothing beats good ol' Iron Balls! Favourite episode? I spent literally years working on this decision. Eventually I came to the conclusion of Quarantine, but there are many others that come close in my books. Rimmerworld, for example, is probably my other favourite (see after all these years I still can't decide!). Only problem is tomorrow I may have to choose again! It's fantastic to hear that you're in high spirits about it, go Red Dwarf! Yes I did know… [cont.] Answered by Arnold Judas Rimmer - Thu Apr 9 15:47:49 2009 Does anyone think that Red Dwarf series 9 and 10 will be produced? Q. Now that there has been reference to series 9 and 10 of Red Dwarf in the Return to Earth special, will they produce series 9 and 10? Asked by Ritch - Sat Apr 11 17:36:47 2009 - - 11 Answers - 0 Comments A. No, it won't happen. With the lack of respect people have had for these episode there will undoubtedly be a massive drop in ratings for tonight's episode. If there's a massive drop in ratings tonight, Dave will not want to fund anymore. Therefore there will be no more Red Dwarf. Dave isn't the best source of funding, it didn't advertise 'Dwarf right and it forced Doug to work under extreme pressure and produce three episodes on his own incredibly quickly in time for Eater - which is the main reason they aren't up to Red Dwarf's usual perfection. So yeah, Dave is not the best channel in the world - definitely not appropriate for making new 'Dwarf - but it was the last source of funding available, and without them 'Dwarf is over. It's… [cont.] Answered by Arnold Judas Rimmer - Sun Apr 12 07:34:40 2009 Did you liked the first new red dwarf episode?
Q. Just to add another question; why was there no laughter in the background? Asked by David - Fri Apr 10 17:38:32 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Ok, I'll start with the laughter. There was no laughter because there wasn't a laugh track this time. They didn't have a laugh track this time, it was because Doug Naylor didn't want it to be filmed in front of a live audience, he didn't want the story to be leaked onto the internet before it was shown on TV. Yes, I liked it, and I'm one of the only people on here that did. I was prepared. Most people expected it to be just like Red Dwarf in the good old days, and most people don't seem to understand how a three-part episode works. It was never going to be the same as Red Dwarf in the good old days, but it was still ok. And nobody understands that a three-part episodes requires the first episode to explain the plot of what's… [cont.] Answered by Arnold Judas Rimmer - Fri Apr 10 17:48:56 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "red dwarf" Five-Star Conversation 08.25.09: Does Inconsistency Start At The Top?
