With the lack of respect people have had for these episode there will undoubtedly be a massive drop in ratings for tonight's episode. If there's a massive drop in ratings tonight, Dave will not want to fund anymore. Therefore there will be no more Red Dwarf. Dave isn't the best source of funding, it didn't advertise 'Dwarf right and it forced Doug to work under extreme pressure and produce three episodes on his own incredibly quickly in time for Eater - which is the main reason they aren't up to Red Dwarf's usual perfection. So yeah, Dave is not the best channel in the world - definitely not appropriate for making new 'Dwarf - but it was the last source of funding available, and without them 'Dwarf is over. There was no laughter because there wasn't a laugh track this time. They didn't have a laugh track this time, it was because Doug Naylor didn't want it to be filmed in front of a live audience, he didn't want the story to be leaked onto the internet before it was shown on TV. Yes, I liked it, and I'm one of the only people on here that did. I was prepared. Most people expected it to be just like Red Dwarf in the good old days, and most people don't seem to understand how a three-part episode works. It was never going to be the same as Red Dwarf in the good old days, but it was still ok.
